1.Scope
This standard covers electrical, dimensional, and related requirements for outdoor power apparatus bushingsthat have basic impulse insulation levels (BILs) of 150 kV and above. It provides specific values fordimensional and related requirements that are to be interpreted, measured, or tested in accordance with IEEEStd C57.19.00TM .1 Bushings covered by this standard are intended for use in free air as components of liquid-immersed transformers and reactors.

4. Detailed requirements
Power transformer and reactor bushings conforming to this standard shall meet the requirements of the following as applicable:
a) Electrical insulation characteristics of Table 1 4
b) Dimensions of Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure 3, Table 2, and Table 3
c) Cantilever test values of Table 4
d) Partial discharge limits of Table 5
e) Power factor and capacitance limits of Table 6
