This part of lEC 60317specifies the requirements of enamelled rectangular copper winding wireof class 120 with a dual coating. The underlying coating is based on polyvinyl acetal resin,which can be modified providing it retains the chemical identity of the original resin and meetsall specified wire requirements.The second coating is a bonding layer based on a thermoplasticor thermosetting resin.
NOTE A modified resin is a resin that has undergone a chemical change,or contains one or more additives toenhance certain performance or application characteristics.

max. 5,60 mm.
Wires of grade 1 and grade 2 are included in this specification and apply to the complete rangeof conductors.
